It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. U-cort is a topical adrenocortical steroid. It works by reducing skin inflammation (redness, swelling, itching, and irritation) in a way that is not clearly understood. Do NOT use U-cort if:

Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with U-cort . Because little, if any, of U-cort is absorbed into the blood, the risk of it interacting with another medicine is low. Ask your health care provider if U-cort may interact with other medicines that you take. Check with your health care provider before you start, stop, or change the dose of any medicine. How to use U-cort :Use U-cort as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.

Proper storage of U-cort :Store U-cort at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not freeze. Do not store in the bathroom.
