It may also be used to prevent influenza in patients 5 years of age and older. Relenza is an antiviral agent. It works by interfering with viral enzymes that allow respiratory viruses to grow and spread. Do NOT use Relenza if:

Proper storage of Relenza :Store Relenza at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Brief storage at temperatures between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Do not puncture the blister until you are ready to take a dose using the Diskhaler.
