Poliovirus Vaccine is a vaccine. It works by stimulating the body to create antibodies, which provides protection against the polio virus.

Do NOT use Poliovirus Vaccine if:

you are allergic to any ingredient in Poliovirus Vaccine , including 2-phenoxyethanol, formaldehyde, streptomycin, polymyxin B, or neomycin
you have had a severe reaction to a previous dose of this vaccine
you have a fever

Before using Poliovirus Vaccine :
