It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor. Mycostatin is an antifungal. It works by weakening cell membranes of the sensitive fungus. This allows the cell contents to leak out and results in death of the fungus. Do NOT use Mycostatin if:

Proper storage of Mycostatin :Store Mycostatin at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C) in a tightly-closed container, away from heat, moisture, and light.
