It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. Lidex Gel is a topical adrenocortical steroid. It works by reducing skin inflammation (redness, swelling, itching, and irritation) by a way that is not clearly understood. Do NOT use Lidex Gel if:

Proper storage of Lidex Gel:Store Lidex Gel at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom.
