It is also used to help induce ovulation in infertile women whose cause of infertility is not related to failure of the ovaries. Follitropin Beta may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor. Follitropin Beta is a gonadotropin. It works by stimulating the ovaries to produce eggs. Do NOT use Follitropin Beta if:

Possible side effects of Follitropin Beta :All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome: Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:

If OVERDOSE is suspected:Contact 1-800-222-1222 (the American Association of Poison Control Centers), your local poison control center (http://www.aapcc.org/findyour.htm), or emergency room immediately. Symptoms may include nausea; severe headache; severe stomach pain or swelling; shortness of breath; vomiting; weakness; weight gain. Proper storage of Follitropin Beta :Store Follitropin Beta between 34 and 46 degrees F (2 and 8 degrees C) until the expiration date or at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C) for 3 months or until the expiration date, whichever occurs first. Once the rubber stopper of the cartridge has been pierced by a needle, the product can only be stored for a maximum of 28 days between 36 and 77 degrees F (2 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Follitropin Beta out of the reach of children and away from pets. General information:
