How to use Clobetasol Foam:

Use Clobetasol Foam as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.

  • Turn the can upside down and dispense a small amount of Clobetasol Foam into the cap of the can; onto a clean saucer; onto another cool, clean surface; or directly to the affected area. Take care to avoid contact with the eyes. Dispensing directly onto the hand is not recommended, as the foam will melt immediately upon touching warm skin. Move the hair away from the affected area and gently rub the medicine into the affected scalp area until the foam disappears. Repeat until entire affected scalp area is treated. Clobetasol Foam should not be used on the face, groin, or armpits. Wash your hands after applying Clobetasol Foam. Do not bandage or wrap the affected area unless directed otherwise by your doctor.
  • If you miss a dose of Clobetasol Foam, apply it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.
