  • you are allergic to any ingredient in Azelex Cream

Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Before using Azelex Cream:

  • if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
  • if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
  • if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances

How to use Azelex Cream:

Use Azelex Cream as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.

  • Before using Azelex Cream, wash the affected area with warm water and soap, rinse, and pat dry. Cover the affected area with a thin film of medicine and gently rub in until medicine is evenly distributed. Allow the medicine to dry.
  • Wash your hands immediately before and after using Azelex Cream.
  • Do not cover the affected area with gauze or a bandage unless your doctor tells you to do so.
  • Continue to use Azelex Cream for the full course of treatment even if your condition improves. Do not miss any doses.
  • If you miss a dose of Azelex Cream, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.

Ask your health care provider any questions you may have about how to use Azelex Cream.
