Wild Yam is used for:

Rheumatoid arthritis, menstrual cramps and discomfort, stomach cramps, and pain from gallstones. It may also have other uses. Check with your pharmacist for more details regarding the particular brand you use.

Wild Yam is an herbal product. It is thought to work by providing a protein substance that blocks new blood networks from forming. Tumors and certain other diseases are dependent on new blood networks.

Do NOT use Wild Yam if:

  • you are allergic to any ingredient in Wild Yam
  • you have a history of a hormone-related cancer (prostate, ovaries, uterus, or cervix or breast cancer)
  • you are pregnant

Before using Wild Yam :
