Teveten is used for:Treating high blood pressure when used alone or in combination with other medicines. It may also be used to treat certain conditions as determined by your doctor that may not be listed in the professional package insert. Teveten is an angiotensin 2 receptor blocker. It works by decreasing certain chemicals in the body which cause blood vessels to constrict (narrow), and sodium and fluid to be stored by the kidneys. Do NOT use Teveten if:
