It is also used to prevent fungal infections in patients undergoing stem cell transplantation. Mycamine is an antifungal agent. It works by interfering with the formation of the cell wall of the fungus, which results in the death of the fungus. Do NOT use Mycamine if:

Proper storage of Mycamine :Store Mycamine at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Brief storage at temperatures between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) is permitted. After mixing, it may be stored in the original vial for up to 24 hours at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). After it is diluted, Mycamine may be stored for up to 24 hours at 77 degrees F (25 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Keep Mycamine out of the reach of children and away from pets. General information:
